Our Missions Ministry is focused on three areas:
- Local Outreach (Clayton and Johnston County, NC).
- National Outreach (Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York).
- International Missions (Cali Colombia, Nigeria Africa).
Our ministry meets once per month throughout the year. When we meet, we spend the first 30 minutes in prayer for the area, followed by evangelism training, Spanish class and preparing for our local outreach / missions projects.
As Christians we have the most important message that the world could receive. Jesus is the answer to every problem, socially, politically, morally, physically and spiritually. This is our time, our generation; we must be part of the work of the great commission. Please pray for our missions team and church as we seek to serve our Lord and community in the way that we believe God has led us.

Our most recent outreach was centered around providing a Thanksgiving Box & turkey to those in need in our community, while sharing God’s love and His gospel message. We distributed the boxes and turkeys at a local outreach ministry that we have partnered with called, “With Love From Jesus” (WLFJ). WLFJ has a house in downtown Clayton that serves as a means for those in need to receive food and clothes. People from our community come to the house where they find Christians who welcome them and love on them while sharing their faith through a Gospel presentation, as well as, offering prayer and counsel. They also allow each person to shop through the house for food and clothes.
Team members will be assigned in one of two areas:
- Serving at WLFJ ministry, helping our neighbors in and out of the house, carrying food boxes to cars, praying with people for various needs, presenting the Gospel of Jesus and more.
- Participating in street evangelism in downtown Clayton, engaging anyone and everyone in conversations, sharing Christ, offering prayer and collecting vital follow-up information. The follow-up info will be used for ongoing prayer and future attempts to nurture relationships with the people of our community as we seek to draw as many people as possible into real relationships with Jesus Christ. We desire to make disciples not converts.
We are partnering with Seven Bridges Ministry in Atlanta, GA. It is the heart and vision of Seven Bridges Ministry to end homelessness first in Atlanta, then in Georgia, the United States and eventually in the world with the love of Christ, one person at a time. They consider themselves the Rescue Team for Jesus! They lead teams under the bridges of Atlanta and into an area called the Bluff (Atlanta’s largest crack cocaine and prostitution district) where we feed and meet physical needs with the goal of sharing Christ and eventually getting the homeless off the streets. Our team members will get a real mission trip experience: learning how to be the hands and feet of Jesus, without the cost of heading overseas! Our next trip is scheduled for April 2016.
Many of our team members will be heading to Cali, Colombia in the summer where we are partnering with several churches including Calvary Chapel of Cali to minister to unreached segments of their population, as well as, several impoverished areas with both food, medical supplies and most important to the Gospel and Love of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.
Last year 4 missionaries were sent and more than 50 people were saved, children were fed and families were strengthened. This year 15 missionaries are being sent, each with an assigned role. The cost is $55 per day, per missionary for 10 days.
THIS IS A FREE CONFERENCE HELD ANNUALLY HERE AT OUR CHURCH. Your are welcome to join us and be inspired as we worship the Lord together, hear testimonies, attend workshops with missionaries who are serving the Lord around the world and be challenged by the Word of God. Click for more details..
The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear". We believe that every believer should be prepared to share his / her faith with others and even look for opportunities to do so. Here are a few things to help you take advantage of the devine opportunities that come your way.
