We have such a wonderful time together on Sunday’s and Wednesday nights and it’s often sad when we have to leave and go back into the world. The early church continued from day to day simply being led by the Holy Spirit to fellowship from house to house breaking bread continuing in prayer and enjoying God’s Word together (Acts 2:42-47). At Calvary we believe that fellowship is an essential part of Christian development. For this reason we offer and encourage Small Group Involvement.
Our Small Groups
“Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” -Psalm 133:1
The Men’s Ministry of Calvary Chapel is a “small group” focused on growing men through a consistent diet of God’s Word, fellowship and sincere prayer. Our men develop Christ centered friendships with one another which provide natural accountability and encouragement. We have an intense Tuesday night bible study with open discussion, practical application and plenty of fun. Whether you are a bible scholar or a new Christian you are a perfect fit for this group of brothers. Don’t miss what the Holy Spirit is doing through our Men’s Ministry.
- Bible study: we search the Scripture in order to grow in knowledge and understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Fellowship: we meet together as brothers in Christ and share our faith.
- Prayer: we intercede in prayer for the needs within the Body of Christ.
Calvary Chapel of Clayton currently offers several ways you can get involved in Men's Ministry.
At the Church:
- Men's Ministry meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m.
- Men’s Breakfast (Potluck style) is held on the first Saturday of each month from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Conferences and Retreats:
- Our Men’s Ministry participates in an annual fall conference with other Calvary Chapel Men’s groups.
- Our Men’s Ministry also hosts smaller, more intimate retreat style getaways, both local and out of town. This is usually held in the spring and we encourage fathers to bring their sons.

"Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised." -Proverbs 31:30
Women are a gift created by God to add a sensitive and loving flavour to both the family and church. God gave us the challenging job of balancing the role of wife, mother, teacher of younger women, homemaker (Titus 2:3-5), business woman and much more. How can a woman juggle all of this and be truly affective? Jesus said, "unless you abide in Me you can do nothing.” The purpose of our Women's Ministry is to encourage and support our women as they grow in their walk with the Lord and become the beautiful strong and affective women God intended in every roll they've been called to fulfill. Up for the challenge?
We meet for Bible study on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Additionally, we attend several conferences and retreats throughout the year in order to fellowship, have time to regroup and be refreshed. Also, throughout the year we have ladies' night out events which allow for wonderful fellowship.
“Her children rise up and call her blessed…” Proverbs 31:28

"O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works." -Psalm 71:17
Youth are a very important part of the body of Christ. Throughout the bible we see young people faithfully serving God in big ways. We also realize that our youth face real life challenges of their own. Like adults, our youth need to have a real relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. CCClayton’s Relentless Youth Ministry focuses on creating an atmosphere where our young people can meet Him where they are in life.
To accomplish this, we give strong emphasis to the teaching of the Word of God, to worship and fellowship in a way that allows them to experience God on their level.
We are to be Relentless in our pursuit of God as He is Relentless in His pursuit of us.
The term "relent" means to slacken or to change your mind. To be "relentless" means to be steady and persistent; firmly, often unreasonably immovable in purpose or will. We want our youth to be Relentless in their pursuit of God; unchanging and unwavering in their faith and to be consistent and determined in having a relationship with Christ by Relentlessly reading His word, "humbling themselves, praying, seeking His face, and turning from wicked ways" (2 Chronicles 7:14). “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up” (Luke 18:1). We are Jesus’ disciples. We are to be Relentless, never giving up, and always praying.
We are called to seek God with all our heart and to keep seeking and seeking.... Relentlessly. There are many stories in the Bible that show people being Relentless. The story of the blind man in Mark 10 shows us his Relentless pursuit of God. When the blind man heard Jesus was walking by he yelled out "Son of David have mercy on me!" but people would mock and tell him to be silent, so the blind man stopped.... NO! He didn't. The more people told him to be silent, the louder he shouted! He didn't care. He was Relentless in his pursuit and faith that Jesus would heal him. He got Jesus' attention and he was healed. Another example in Mark 2 shows people being Relentless. Jesus was teaching in a house in Capernaum where immediately a crowd gathered and there was literally no more room, not even near the door. After the crowd formed, four friends came bringing their paralytic friend in hope Jesus would heal him. They were unable to get near because of the crowd. Disappointed, they turned around and went home.... NO! They didn't. They found another way to Jesus. They went up on the roof and let him down to Jesus, and Jesus seeing their faith healed the paralytic.
Christ, in return, is also Relentless in His pursuit of us. The parable of the lost sheep in Matthew 18 shows us. A Sheppard had 100 sheep, but lost one. He left the 99 to look for the 1 and He rejoiced greatly when He found it. God is our Sheppard (John 10:11). When we are lost He pursues us Relentlessly, leaving His 99 just to “look” for us. God said "I will never leave you, nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). He was even Relentless to the point of death. His Relentless pursuit continued even on the Cross, while He was mocked and spit upon, He continued. Even when He thought He couldn't go through with it, He Relentlessly pursued the Fathers' will. He kept pushing forward. He was determined, persistent, unchanging, and never gave up. He Relentlessly loved us even while we were still sinners! (Romans 5:8)
We want our youth to be Relentless. Never giving up in their pursuit of God and His love. Consistently seeking His face daily. Being firm and immovable in their faith. Relentlessly showing the love of Christ towards others. To keep pushing forward. To never give up. Never surrender. Be... Relentless.
Our youth fellowship meets on Sundays at 10:00 A.M. & on Wednesday nights at 7:00 P.M. We also meet on the First Friday of every Month to do fun outings such as bowling, games, witnessing and much more! Come out for some Fellowship, Fun, and Food!

Young Adults is a ministry designed for 18-29 year olds in mind. "...His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue..." -2 Peter 1:3. Our focus is to grow in the the knowledge of Jesus Christ through study, prayer, and fellowship. We want our Young Adults to grasp and obtain "all things that pertain to life and godliness" through Christ and to transition their lives to be fully reliant and dependent upon Him.
We meet every third Friday of the month from 7-9 P.M. in the Youth Room.
Calvary Chapel of Clayton Home Fellowship Groups embody Jesus’ Words, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Nothing is sweeter than fellowship with the Lord; this is especially true while sharing His Word with Christian brothers and sisters. During each Home Fellowship, God’s Word is opened prayerfully and members dive in to understand Scripture at an even deeper level. Members are able to share what God has been showing them, as well as, their insights and experiences. Our Home Fellowships provide the opportunity for people to express their heart, share their ministry gifts and develop deeper bonds of friendship. When attending a Calvary Clayton Home Fellowship you can expect plenty of smiles, laughter, good food, warm friendships and an open discussion Bible study in a casual relaxed setting. Be sure to visit and expect to spend time with the Lord and with other believers in sweet fellowship.
We currently have 3 home fellowships:
